Our scholars at Global Prep Academy explored Artificial Intelligence through a simple game of Tic Tac Toe—learning how AI recognizes patterns, predicts outcomes, and makes strategic decisions. What started as a fun activity turned into a powerful lesson in how machines “think,” building critical thinking and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning.

Creativity meets innovation! 🤖✨

During our My AI Robot Design activity, students colored, cut, and built their own robots. They also named their robots and imagined real-world tasks they would command them to do—bringing their ideas to life through creativity and design.

🚧 Explorer Saturdays – Architecture in Action! 🏗️

Our scholars had the opportunity to dive into the world of architecture with guest facilitator Kionna Walker, AIA, NOMA, Founder of Next Great Architects (Next Great Architects®).

Students explored their creativity by designing and building their own architectural models, learning how structure, design, and imagination all come together to shape the spaces we live, work, and play in. From sketching ideas to constructing detailed models, scholars were fully engaged in hands-on learning that brought their visions to life.

We’re proud to continue exposing our youth to real-world STEAM pathways through experiences like this!

✈️ Exploration Pathways Development Hour: Leadership in the Sky

Our Pathways students had the incredible opportunity to learn from Captain Ryan Lynch, a commercial airline pilot whose passion for aviation began at age five after his first flight to Orlando!

Born and raised in Indianapolis and growing up in Fishers, Ryan showed students that big dreams can take off right from their hometown. Today, he has traveled to over 80 countries and shared real insight into the aviation career path — including earning potential ranging from $95K to $450K.

🧭 Leadership in the Sky

Ryan emphasized that being a pilot isn’t just about flying—it’s about leadership and teamwork:
• The Captain sets the tone for the entire flight.
• Every trip starts with a team briefing.
• Great leaders support and help their crew succeed.

💡 Our students walked away inspired, informed, and excited about careers in aviation and beyond!
