Institute of Chin Affairs Inc. ICA ICA is a non-profit, charitable organization registered under the IRS Code Section 501 (c) (3).

The Institute of Chin Affairs (ICA) is formed with below purposes:
1. To perform research and analysis of issues affecting the Chin people and inform, educate, and raise awareness of their struggles.
2. To contribute for establishment of peaceful, developed, democratic society for the Chin people in Myanmar (Burma).
3. To monitor, research, document, report, and educate on Chin human rights issues

4. To help the Chin people affected by political instability and internal conflicts in Myanmar (Burma).

ချင်းရေးရာအဖွဲ့ (ICA) သည် ၂၀၂၁ခုနှစ်မှစတင်၍ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံ၏ ပြည်တွင်းပဋိပက္ခနှင့်တိုက်ပွဲများ ကြောင့် ဒုက္ခရောက်နေကြသည့်ပြည်သူများ၊ မိမိတို့၏အိုးအိမ်စည်းစိမ်များကို စွန့်ခွာပြီး အသက် ရှင်သန် ရပ်တည်နိုင်ရေးအတွက် ထွက်ပြေးတိမ်းရှောင်နေကြရသည့် စစ်ဘေးရှောင်ပြည်သူများ အား အတတ်နိုင်ဆုံးကြိုးစားကူညီခဲ့ပါသည်။

We are supporting 14 displaced students (8 women and 6 men) from Myanmar who are completing their master’s degrees in Northeast India. All of them are now in the final semester of their programs, pursuing master’s degrees in business, English, Political Science, Social Work, Economics, and Travel and Tourism.

Following the cancellation of USAID funding, the critical scholarships that covered their tuition, healthcare, and housing were abruptly withdrawn. While another generous organization has stepped in to support 8 of the students, 6 remain without the financial assistance they urgently need to complete their studies and cover basic living costs.

We are raising funds to ensure these remaining 6 students can stay enrolled, finish their degrees, and meet their essential living expenses. Any contribution, no matter the size, will be a big help.
