This month is more than awareness it’s about honoring survivors, remembering those we’ve lost, and standing boldly in the truth that abuse has no place in our communities.

As the Founder of Paula Saving Grace, this mission is deeply personal. It was built in honor of my mother, a survivor whose strength continues to guide the work we do every single day.

We walk to **uplift survivors**, to **honor the lives lost**, and to remind our community that **no one has to suffer in silence**. Together, we are creating a safe space filled with strength, love, and unwavering support.

🐾 Small dogs are allowed (must be on a leash; no aggressive dogs permitted)
👕 T-shirts are available for purchase and will be distributed the day of the walk

We are in need of 5 more volunteers to join our literacy leadership team at Paula’s Saving Grace please comment LITERACY or email [email protected] if you are interested in joining the team. For those who have expressed interest I will be contacting you all soon. Our first meeting will take place in September to go over the program and expectations. I look forward to meeting everyone, pouring back into our children and uplifting our community in a positive. ❤️❤️

📚 WE’RE BUILDING A READING MOVEMENT IN INDIANAPOLIS AND WE NEED YOU!

Paula’s Saving Grace is launching a new Community Literacy Initiative focused on helping our youth strengthen their reading, comprehension, confidence, and love for learning.

But we know something important:

We cannot do this alone.
We are looking for passionate individuals to join our Volunteer Literacy Leadership Team and help us create meaningful change one child, one family, and one community at a time.

We are looking for:

📚 Retired Teachers�👩🏾‍🏫 Current Educators�🎓 College Students�🏆 High School Honor Students�📖 Librarians�✍🏾 Authors�💼 Corporate Professionals�👩‍👧 Parents�👵🏾 Grandparents�🤝🏾 Community Leaders�📘 Reading Tutors�🌟 Youth Mentors

WHAT WE'RE ASKING:

Just 2 hours a week for 12 weeks.
That's it.
Two hours you can give to help a child become a stronger reader.
Two hours to encourage a young person.
Two hours to support families.
Two hours to invest in the future of Indianapolis.
You don't have to be a teacher to make an impact.
You don't have to have a degree in education.
You simply need a heart for our children, a commitment to our community, and a willingness to show up consistently.
Our children deserve a village that believes in them.
