“I want to thank you for being considered. I feel I'm better just being a part of this organization and am thankful for any opportunity to serve. I realize I don't know many of you but I want to offer my help whenever needed.

MEET YOUR CANDIDATES

As our 2027 Leadership elections kickoff, we wanted to take a few days to announce candidates for each role. Meet your Vice President candidate, Tyler McConnell!

“As a long-term member of RLI, I have deep gratitude for this organization. I can confidently say that I have found more professional and personal growth through Realtors Land Institute than anything else in my 12 year career in real estate and land sales. I’m excited to wrap up the 2026 season with heavy involvement at the national level, while reeling back and focusing much more on my presence at our local chapter starting in 2027. I am enthusiastic to assist in the continued growth of this chapter, fostering relationships with each of you, and growing what I hope to become a tri-state referral network amongst land professionals in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio that is rooted in deep friendships and our mutual love of the land.

I plan to bring much of my experience from service and involvement at the national level back to our local chapter to aid in this growth but want to be clear in the fact that I represent each of you in this role and am never more than a phone call away as we seek and continue to grow together!

Thank you for this opportunity and your support in my candidacy for your 2027 Vice-President!”

Board Member Spotlight: Stephen J B Davis

Stephen J B Davis is a Land Specialist and Luxury Residential Realtor serving Central Kentucky's Bluegrass region. Since 2018, he has focused on acreage estates, recreational land, transitional properties, and agricultural land—transactions where the stakes are high, the details matter, and getting it right requires more than access to listings. Stephen's approach is built on a simple framework: analyze, advise, advocate. He brings the analysis to understand what a property is actually worth, the professional judgment to advise clients clearly, and the persistence to advocate for their interests from first conversation to closing.

Before real estate, Stephen was a music educator in Detroit, Michigan, where he built a teaching business serving more than 20 private students across 10 schools while helping lead three marching bands. That work taught him something that still drives his practice today: success comes from understanding what each person actually needs and building a process to get them there. He brings that same care and attention to every client relationship.

Stephen is heavily involved with many real estate related organizations, and his involvement was critical to starting our local chapter. We appreciate all he does for our organization!
