We may be a SMALL nonprofit, but we’re doing BIG things in our community!
The Blue Hope Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Indian Trail, North Carolina, believes that you don’t have to be a large organization with unlimited resources to make an extraordinary difference.
Sometimes all it takes is FAITH, a willing heart, a community that believes in your mission, and partners who are willing to say YES!
Last Thanksgiving, we launched our First Annual Thanksgiving Harvest of HOPE, and what started as a vision became something truly remarkable.
🛒 More than 3,872 food items purchased!
🦃 135 families blessed with complete Thanksgiving meals!
🤝 Dedicated volunteers, donors, and community partners working together to bring HOPE to families!
From shopping carts overflowing with groceries to organizing thousands of food items, packing Thanksgiving bags, loading vehicles, and delivering meals to families throughout our community, every step of the journey was a reminder of why we serve.
And one of the most meaningful parts of this experience was the incredible support we received from our local ALDI stores in Indian Trail, North Carolina, and Waxhaw, North Carolina. 💙💚
A very special THANK YOU to Jake Gordon, formerly of the ALDI Indian Trail location, who went above and beyond to help us coordinate the purchase and preparation of thousands of food items.
Jake didn’t just see shopping carts filled with groceries. He understood that behind every bag was a family, and behind every family was an opportunity to make a difference.
We’re also celebrating Jake’s well-deserved promotion and remain incredibly grateful for the kindness, patience, and support he showed throughout the process.
The ALDI team in Waxhaw, North Carolina, also stepped in to assist, reminding us that when local businesses and community organizations work together, incredible things can happen.
And our journey didn’t stop at the grocery store!
From our generous donors and community partners to the volunteers who packed bags, transported food, and helped deliver Thanksgiving meals, every helping hand played a part in bringing this vision to life.
And here’s what makes this story even more special…
We’re a small nonprofit with a BIG HEART and an even BIGGER commitment to serving our community.
We don’t have a large staff or unlimited resources. What we do have is a mission we believe in, volunteers who show up, and a determination to make every dollar, every donation, and every partnership count.
Last year, that commitment helped us serve 135 families.

We’re officially preparing for our SECOND ANNUAL THANKSGIVING HARVEST OF HOPE 2026, and our goal is:

As we prepare for this year’s Harvest of HOPE, we’re excited about the opportunity to build on the relationships, generosity, and community spirit that made last year’s outreach possible.
We welcome individuals, families, churches, businesses, and community partners who believe in the power of giving back to join us in making an even greater impact this Thanksgiving.
Because the size of an organization doesn’t determine the size of its IMPACT.
