Bright Futures Fort Osage is reaching out to our community for a simple but meaningful way to support students in need. Our Care Closet helps ensure students have access to basic essentials so they can focus on learning with confidence.

Right now, we have a high need for a few specific items:
• Girls’ underwear and bras
• Men’s small underwear

Prefer to shop locally? That works just as well. You can drop off donations at any Fort Osage school or the district office—just let them know it’s for the Care Closet.

We are excited to be part of this first Souper Bowl Auction Sale and Dinner to help raise money for Bright Futures and our art department. Come join us for dinner, bid on student created ceramics, and enjoy looking at art from Fort Osage students District wide.

Fort Connect Students Need Your Help!

Our Fort Connect students have an exciting opportunity this year—they’ve been given a booth at Merchant Square where they’ll be selling items to the community. Their long-term goal is to grow their booth with student-made products, but they need a little help getting started.

Right now, the students are looking for donations of new or gently used items they can sell in their booth. Every dollar earned will go directly back into the Fort Connect program, helping students purchase supplies and materials to produce more of their own handmade items.

Think of it as a small spark to get their student-run shop going. A donated item today can help fund the materials students need to create and sell their own products tomorrow.

If you have items you’d be willing to donate, you can drop them off at Fort Connect Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Fort Connect is located at 2500 Little Blue Parkway, suite 200, Independence, MO 64057.

The Woods Chapel United Methodist Church in Lee’s Summit is having their annual prom boutique this week.

It’s open to anyone in the KC metro area. They have over 1,500 dresses from size 0-32. They also have shoes, purses, and jewelry, as well as tuxes for boys.

We are looking for some volunteers to help our students prepare for their Easter Egg Hunt at Campus Grounds.

🥚 Egg Stuffing Party
We’ll have 7,000 eggs this year, so we’ll definitely need help stuffing them!
