We're looking for businesses, organizations, and community members who would like to partner with us as sponsors for our Back to School Bash on August 1.

This event helps students and families start the school year prepared, confident, and ready to learn. Your support helps make this opportunity possible for those who need it most.

Just a reminder our Care Closet is open tomorrow!

The Fort Osage Care Closet will be open for Fort Osage families on:
📅 June 23 | 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.

The Care Closet is located on our main campus behind the Fort Osage Career and Technology Center. Follow the signs once you turn on the main campus by the high school.

Families who reside within the Fort Osage School District are invited to come shop free items for both children and adults. There are no income restrictions.
Items available may include:
👕 New and gently used clothing, coats, and shoes
🧦 New socks, underwear, and bras
🪥 Hygiene items including toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, pads, and tampons
🏠 Select household items

If your family is in need but unable to attend during the scheduled open times, please contact Stephanie Smith at [email protected] or Jarrod Steffens at [email protected] to arrange another time to shop.

Bright Futures Fort Osage is committed to helping support as many families as possible with school supply assistance for the upcoming school year. Families in need of assistance are encouraged to complete the form below, and our team will respond as quickly as possible regarding availability of support.

Please note:

Assistance will be provided on a first come, first served basis.

A separate form must be completed for each child needing assistance.

Students attending Woodland Early Childhood Center or the Career and Technology Center do not need school supplies and do not need to complete this form.

Students attending Fort Osage High School will be given basic supplies to begin the school year.

📚 Help a Fort Osage Student Start the School Year Prepared!

Bright Futures Fort Osage is now offering the opportunity to Adopt-a-Student for the 2026-2027 school year. Community members, businesses, churches, organizations, and families can help support students by purchasing needed school supplies.

Want to shop for a student directly? You can adopt a student and purchase supplies based on their specific school supply list.

To participate:
✔️ Complete the Adopt-a-Student form at https://forms.gle/u4ZshhNS1Sc2XgYT7
✔️ Receive student supply information from our team
✔️ Return purchased supplies to the District Office by July 24

Looking for another way to help? Monetary donations are also accepted and will be used to purchase supplies for students in need. You can donate online at https://www.foeducationfoundation.org/donate

Bright Futures Fort Osage is reaching out to our community for a simple but meaningful way to support students in need. Our Care Closet helps ensure students have access to basic essentials so they can focus on learning with confidence.

Right now, we have a high need for a few specific items:
• Girls’ underwear and bras
• Men’s small underwear
