Meet Caraxes — a striking black-and-white boy with a whole lot of personality still unfolding.

At 6 months old, Caraxes already knows how to work a room... as long as that room is full of other cats. He's playful, social, and genuinely enjoys feline company, eager to explore and hang out nearby whenever there's another cat around.

People are a different story — for now. Caraxes needs time to warm up to humans and hasn't yet learned to accept pets, but that's exactly why he needs the right kind of home: one with patience, low expectations for instant affection, and the willingness to let him set the pace. Every confident cat had to start somewhere, and Caraxes is ready to grow into the self-assured young man he's destined to be — he just needs someone willing to see him through it.

This handsome 14-month-old boy knows how to make an entrance — we caught him settled into a donated flower bed as if it were made just for him (honestly, it kind of was). That's Loki in a nutshell: confident, cozy, and completely at home wherever he lands.

His foster home says it best: "Loki is an amazing boy, and it's so hard to believe he hasn't been adopted! He's full of life and love, very affectionate, great with people, dogs, and other cats. And did we mention beautiful? He is so beautiful!"

Affectionate with people, easygoing with dogs and other cats, and stunning to boot — Loki is about as close to a perfect fit as it gets for pretty much any home.

Every cat who comes through Moggy's Refuge gets a full vet exam, vaccines, spay/neuter, a microchip, and time to decompress in foster care before we ever start matching them with a home. Loki's foster family has already done the hard part — now he just needs the right people to say yes.

Two weeks home and already the best of friends! 🧡🐾

We got the sweetest update from Andromeda's (aka Drama's!) family — the slow introduction with their resident cat Mickie paid off beautifully. He was a little curious and unsure at first (totally normal!), but now the two are inseparable best buddies. The best part? They look almost identical... except Mickie has about 10 lbs on her! 😹

This is exactly why we take our time with introductions and matching — patience now means a lifelong bond later. Congratulations to Drama's family, and thank you for giving her a home where she gets to be perfectly, dramatically herself. 💛
