Monday morning practice at Tahoe Crew. MONDAY. A year ago, we were lucky to have a half dozen rowers show up for a weekend practice, but now we regularly put 15+ athletes on the water in a dozen or more 🚣‍♀️🚣‍♀️🚣‍♀️boats 🚣🚣🚣. There are so many factors (and so much work) that goes into building a rowing team from scratch - dedicated athletes, supportive parents, outstanding coaches, thousands of volunteer hours, and a welcoming community, just to name a handful. 🥇 Winning races 🥇 certainly seems to help, too. It's been an amazing ride, and we can't wait to see what the next year will bring. We're gonna need a bigger beach! 🏖 🏖 🏖

🚣 COVERED BRIDGE REGATTA 🚣
Tahoe Crew traveled to Eugene, OR this past weekend to race at the Covered Bridge Regatta — and brought home some hardware! 🥇🥈🥉
🥇 Boys Novice 2x — Brecken Key & Kole Buckley took GOLD!
🥈 Girls Novice 2x — Kennedy Kelly & Lucy Stone earned silver
🥈 Boys Youth 1x — Sebren Key

Huge effort from everyone who raced, including Asher Edwards, Kai Copeland, and the Boys Youth 4x crew, who made the A Final in our team’s first-ever quad entry! Proud of this team for showing up and laying it all on the line against some of the best programs on the West Coast. 💙

Great day at the 510 Sprints! Last year we entered 2 athletes in 3 boats and brought home 1 silver medal; this year we quadrupled that - 8 athletes in 12 boats 🚣, with 4 silvers 🥈🥈🥈🥈and 2 bronzes 🥉🥉! 2 more boats finished just out of the medals in 4th. Our little rowing team is growing!
