Dylan Jude Harrell Community Center The Dylan Jude Harrell Community Center serves the kids and community of the Long Beach Peninsula Dylan loved fashion, music, and her family and friends.

Dylan Jude Harrell was a sweet and sassy four-year-old when she was diagnosed with diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma (DIPG) on August 8th, 2018. DIPG is a rare, incurable brain cancer that affects 200-400 children a year, typically between the ages of four to eleven. Dylan bravely battled DIPG without complaint for 20 months and passed away on April 9th, 2020. She loved to swim and had been looking

forward to playing soccer and starting ballet. It is our hope that Dylan’s brave, fighting spirit will live on in this community, and that the Dylan Jude Harrell Community Center can be a place where people young and old come together to make memories, find community, and have fun! We're on a mission to help all kids and families Be Brave!

We expanded After School to include Middle & High School when we were awarded our second 21st CCLC grant; we had our first high school employees graduate; and we partnered with Ocean Park Camp & Retreat Center to bring Outdoor School to our community.
