Tomorrow is the last day to register for our summer master classes.
We have some amazing teachers coming!
Matt Larsen will be teaching "Characterization during Monologues" is a talented actor who many of you have seen at Center Stage.
He's played "Harry Wormwood" in Matilda, "The Rabbi" in Fiddler on the Roof, and currently "Max Detweiler" in The Sound of Music.
He's also played "Bert" in Mary Poppins with Sounds Musicals. But my all time favorite role he's ever played was with IFYAC. He was an amazing "Mrs Trunchbull" in Matilda.
Kaatia Larsen will be teaching "Characterization while Singing". She also performs frequently at Center Stage.
She's played the "Narrator" in Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat, and "Milly Pontipee" in Seven Brides and Seven Brothers, just to name a few.
She also just finished music directing Les Miserables Teen version for the Stage Door Repertory.
TUESDAY our focus will be Dance. We will have two amazing Master Teachers there to teach us dance.
Also, you can use these dance routines for your Frozen and Dare to Dream auditions.
Lindsie Curtis will be teaching us a lyrical routine. She coaches for Eleve Dance. She is so good with young dancers and comes up with the most beautiful routines.
Andrea Sanofsky will be working with us on a hip hop routine. She coaches with AP Dance. We are excited to learn hip hop with her fun and energetic ideas.
WEDNESDAY our focus will be Music. Our Master Teachers for this day are Rachel Barton and Neisah Drain.
These are well respected teachers in our music community and we are excited that they are willing to come to work with our kids.
Rachel Barton will be teaching "Singing with Accents". Rachel is a talented actress who we've seen in several productions around town.
She played "Dorcas" in Center Stage's Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, "Velma Von Tussle" in Center Stage's Hairspray, and "Eliza Doolittle" in Sounds Musicals production of " My Fair Lady".
Neisah Drain will be teaching "Slating and How to Choose a song for an Audition". Neisah is a talented musician and has music directed many shows in our area. Recently, she just finished directing The Hunchback of Notre Dame with Sounds Choir. She also music directed Suessical and Tarzan for AACT here in Ammon.

One week of classes all leading up to a final showcase performance at the Frontier Center on June 8th at 7:00pm!
This is an incredible opportunity for students to grow their skills, gain confidence, and experience what it’s like to truly develop a performance from start to finish.
