Ache after ache. Another milestone that Leah is not a part of. Oh, how much you would have accomplished at 16—honor roll student, learner’s permit, first job, your shop, and so much more. I’m left with this ache that only grows heavier, but despite it all, I will always celebrate you. Not a day goes by that we don’t miss you and wish you were here with us. For now, I hope we continue to make you proud—especially your little sister as she blows out the candles for you. Happy 16th heavenly birthday to my best friend and my first true love, Leah. Forever and always. 💔🕊️

This type of anniversary should never exist, especially for a child. While life continues to move forward, our lives will never be the same without Leah. Today marks two years without her, and I still struggle to understand why this happened—especially to her. She deserves to be here for every birthday and every accomplishment, but instead I’m left finding ways to keep honoring her and her beautiful life. I never knew such heartache until I lost her. The grief only grows because our love is so deep; we simply learn how to let it blend into our lives. Not a day goes by that we don’t miss her and love her beyond words. We will continue to keep her legacy alive—forever and always. 🤍

Our second Christmas without Lee doesn’t look the same, but we still managed to make it special for Annia. I know she would be proud of us for finding the strength to keep moving forward and making things happen.

We are deeply thankful for our community and all the support we’ve received from the moment Leah was diagnosed and throughout this journey. From my family to yours, Merry Christmas and happy holidays. 🎄🕊️❤️‍🩹

Today marks 23 months without our sweet girl, Leah. In her honor, and to keep her legacy alive, we were able to collect over 200 Lego sets thanks to our wonderful community. We visited Children’s and handed out stockings filled with goodies, helped the kids pick out their Legos, and gave them the opportunity to take pictures with Santa—surrounded by beautiful decorations. We also made a home delivery to sweet Bella, who is battling DIPG, and gifted her one of Leah’s bracelets and Legos.

With her favorite holiday approaching, we wanted to bring some light and joy to those walking the same steps we once did. I know our girl is truly happy that we’re doing this on her behalf.

As this month comes to an end, childhood cancer does not. We will continue to raise awareness, shine a light on those battling, and support their families.

We’re excited to announce our second Christmas Toy Drive, which will also give families the opportunity to meet and greet Santa. Last year, this event meant so much to the families, and we’re committed to making it happen again.
