Hutto Veterans Working Group

08/10/2026

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to American Legion Post 302 – Hutto, TX for allowing me the opportunity to present the Hutto Veterans Working Group to their members on July 27, 2026.

It was a pleasure sharing the vision for the Working Group and discussing what we hope it can develop into for our local veteran community. I look forward to working alongside our veterans and community partners to help support the ideas, needs, and opportunities we can bring to Hutto.

Our next step will be to hold a kickoff meeting where veterans interested in being part of the Working Group can come together, share their ideas, and identify volunteers for a group leader and co-leader.

My role is to serve as a liaison and help support the group as it gets established. Ultimately, I want this to be a veteran-led group shaped by the veterans and community it serves.

If you are a veteran in the Hutto community and would like to be involved, please stay tuned for the upcoming meeting information.
