May is Mental Health Awareness Month and at Humane H.E.L.P., we are kicking it off where it matters most.
Working in animal welfare means showing up every day for others, but it can come at a cost. The emotional weight, the long hours, and the tough cases all add up. That is why we are starting the month with our Compassion Fatigue and the Animal Welfare Worker class.
This course is designed specifically for those in the field who give so much of themselves. We will talk about what compassion fatigue really looks like, how it impacts your work and personal life, and practical ways to recognize it, manage it, and build resilience.
Taking care of animals starts with taking care of yourself.
Join us this month as we focus on supporting the people behind the work. You do not have to carry it alone.
