The People’s Table is happy to share that Yellow Brick Road Food Truck will serve a FREE traditional Thanksgiving dinner for anyone who may need a hot meal.

The next TEFAP (The Emergency Food Assistance Program) commodities distribution will be Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 2 to 3:30 p.m. at the Food Bank of Reno County, 921 E. 4th. (4th and Severance). Parking before 1 p.m. will be strictly prohibited.

We were given 108 reminders that community care matters.

This month’s Community Cook & Share was powered by generosity and neighbors helping neighbors.

Thanks to our incredible volunteers, cooks, and community partners, 108 meals were prepared and shared with families, elders, caregivers, and community members across Reno County.

We were able to provide pork burritos, garden pasta salad, mustard potato salad, goulash, white rice, ground beef & potatoes, and chicken and rice!

Food has a unique way of bringing people together. A special thank you to our amazing partners,The Volunteer Center of Reno County, WIM International Cooking Class, Living Hope Free Will Baptist Church, Hutchinson NAACP Youthh, and Trinity Catholic Jr/Sr High School 2025 grads that volunteered during their summer break!

Thank you for giving your time and heart to this work. You are the reason these meals reach our neighbors and the reason this program continues to grow.

Together, we’re building a community where care is shared, dignity is honored, and no one has to carry life’s challenges alone.
