We’re excited to share that we have received a $500 mini grant from People’s Unity Project to support the growing work of IEP Circles across West Virginia! 🎉 We’re deeply grateful their board chose to invest in grassroots, parent-led organizing.
IEP Circles were created from a simple belief: families should never have to navigate special education alone.
We’re not just giving parents information, we’re building community. A place where we can ask questions without judgment, learn from one another, and recognize that our voices matter.
IEP Circles have launched in Logan and Monongalia Counties, with upcoming circles in Hancock/Brooke, Putnam, and Kanawha Counties, plus a virtual option for families across West Virginia.
This grant will help us reach more families and continue building a statewide network of parents who are ready to learn, connect, and advocate together.
