Please consider helping out Huron High School's Teen Leadership Corps by donating your old, gently used shoes! Just drop off your old shoes in one of the boxes placed in the high school's front entrance or the gymnasium entrance. Every pair of shoes collected will raise money to fund our TLC class.

Did you know that over 300 million pairs of shoes end up in landfills each year? Our shoe fundraiser disrupts this cycle, redirecting footwear from waste to purpose. Instead of the landfill, the shoes will be sent to 26 developing countries, providing micro-entrepeneurs with affordable inventory.

Our shoe drive starts NOW and lasts through December 13.

Super proud of TLC for killing their first big task of the year, which was to organize and then present a pep talk for each of the freshman English classes. The goal of the pep talk was to encourage the freshmen to start strong, which has been the monthly challenge that TLC has been working on!! 💪💪

Just completed our last week together. Lots of tears on our last day. This is a special group. Huron is a better place because of these kids (and so is their teacher ❤️).
