Our Board of Directors and our volunteers wpuld like to wish everyone a Happy and Peaceful Memorial Day!

Today we remember the ultimate sacrifice made by so many, so that we can enjoy days like today with those closest to us.

BIG THINGS are in the works for The Anchor Initiative!!

We have been working diligently behind the scenes to get our organization right where we need it to help the disabled community in our area and throughout our state!

We hope to have big announcements coming soon and we want to make sure everyone sees them!!

I encourage each of you to invite your friends, your family members, and your circle of support to start following The Anchor Initiative, Inc so they can be update on these upcoming big moves and changes!

If you know another disability family that would be interested, invite them too! We truly can't wait to give big updates!

Due to the current circumstances for our community regarding state budget cuts and budget plan concerns within our community, we have decided for now to wait to offer the Epilepsy Foundation's Seizure and First Aid Course, until the fall.

We have received emails showing interest and excitement regarding the course. Unforunately, the current circumstances have left a lot of schedule and financial uncertainty.

HOWEVER -
This class will be offered later in the year.
It will be free.
It will be virtual.
and it is a great opportunity to become certified and a step toward becoming a trainer to teach this same course to the general public!

Great Day To Walk For Epilepsy!

It was a great first of many events where we partner with the Epilepsy Foundation Maryland! It was a great turnout and wonderful opportunity to make new connections, partnerships, and friends!

Not only will we be represented as a vendor at this event, but we have been encouraged to create our own team!
