The documentary “Gaza Fights for Freedom” is centered around the 2018 Great March of Return protests, in which hundreds of unarmed protestors from Gaza were killed by Israeli forces. Refreshments and poster making supplies will be provided.

Join us for a rally at Big Spring Park Sunday at 3pm. From wherever we are, we will make clear: the people of the world stand with Gaza.As we mark two years of genocide, we recall our responsibility to the people of Gaza, who have resisted an all-out war on their lives for over 700 days. The time is now to link arms, reenergize ourselves and our people, and stop the world for Gaza. We will not rest until the genocide is brought to an end, until those who bear responsibility are made to answer for their crimes before an international tribunal, and until Palestine is free.Let’s Talk Palestine

Kite Flying & Palestinian Poetry Reading

📍Big Spring ParkThe white kite has become a powerful symbol of Palestinian freedom and resistance. Please join us in flying kites to help amplify the call for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza. There will be poetry readings in honor of the late Palestinian poet Refaat Alareer and others. We answer his call to continue telling his story.
