Save The Animals - Huntsville An advocacy group of like minded individuals dedicated to the awareness and enrichment of all animals in need of rescue.

Find informative resources here: https://alabamaanimaladvocates.com/ Here we will find ways to make positive changes to ultimately better the lives of animals in shelters: Bring awareness to the community on how they can help, volunteer, donate, spay and neuter, fundraise, foster and ultimately and responsibly adopt their next family member. We hope you can follow along in our journey and become a positive part of our communities in being the animals of Huntsville’s voice. With you and only you we can ALL make such a big difference in moving forward with the enrichment, health and loving homes for the pets currently in shelters – giving them a happy life that we as beings all hope for. Join us in this movement by following along and stepping forward on how you can help. Please take the first step and share this page with your friends and family in hopes that they have your same compassion towards finding homes for the ones that have been left behind and look at us through cages. “THEIR ONLY HOPE IS YOU….” – Thank you for being the difference.

Luna Farms Rescue's goal is BIG:
✨ Approximately 50 dogs and cats spayed or neutered in ONE day.✨ See info below. Thank you Luna Farms Rescue 🥰

NAMASTE DAY IS COMING TO NORTH ALABAMA! 🐾💕

What if we could prevent tomorrow’s unwanted litters today?

This October, Luna Farms Rescue is joining the Jason Heigl Foundation and Westside Veterinary Hospital for Namaste Day 2026! A community spay and neuter event created to help families get their beloved pets fixed and prevent unintended litters before they happen. 🐶🐱💕

Our goal is BIG:

✨ Approximately 50 dogs and cats spayed or neutered in ONE day.

These aren’t shelter pets. They’re beloved family pets who will go right back home to the people who love them, just without the possibility of contributing to another unplanned litter.

And that matters.

Because every litter we prevent means fewer puppies and kittens entering an already overwhelmed shelter and rescue system.

That’s prevention. And prevention changes what happens tomorrow. 🐾

You may know someone who has been putting off spaying or neutering their pet because of cost, transportation, access, or simply not knowing where to begin.

Together, we can help families keep the pets they love and prevent unwanted litters from ever happening in the first place.

Prevention starts with one pet. One appointment. One family. And it can change what happens tomorrow. ❤️‍🩹

Stay tuned for more about Namaste Day, the incredible people making this event possible, and why prevention is such an important part of rescue. 🐶🐱

LARGE DOG FOSTERS NEEDED!

Freyja, Moon & Apollo. ❤️

These three were part of a litter of 9 puppies dumped on the side of the road. Friends of Rescue stepped in and took three of them, and they are safe and fully vetted.

At approximately 10 months old, they’re ready for the next step: being separated and getting the one-on-one attention and training they need to become great family dogs. 🏡

👉 We need ONE foster home for Freyja, ONE foster home for Moon, and ONE foster home for Apollo. They each need their own foster so they can receive individual attention and learn how to successfully live in a home.

They need help with potty training, basic manners and all the things that come with becoming an indoor family dog.

We know large, untrained dogs are harder to place—but they can't learn unless someone gives them the opportunity.

❤️ Can you be the foster who gives Freyja, Moon or Apollo their chance at a forever home?

Please apply to foster at FORrescue.net or email [email protected] if you have questions about one of these dogs. And please share!
