The USS Wernher von Braun is the Huntsville, AL chapter of STARFLEET, the International Star Trek Fan Association. Basically, we're a group of Star Trek fans that get together to have fun. While our chapter is focused on Star Trek, we enjoy a wide variety of science-fiction, fantasy, and other genre fandoms. In addition to our monthly meetings, we hold other activities such as picnics, movie viewi

ngs, convention trips, mini-golf outings, holiday parties, and more. We have also engaged in community service activities from fund-raising to community service. Participation in our events is purely voluntary as your time permits. However, the more active you are, the more you'll enjoy yourself. While we don't have any local dues, we do ask that you join STARFLEET if you're able. STARFLEET membership options start at $5 a year, and include options for your entire family. You're perfectly welcome to participate in our local activates without joining STARFLEET.
