Legacy Health Connections was established as a ministry to develop and implement programs intended to help improve the well-being of people at the community level. Our priority is the B.A.L.M. Foster Care Program which focuses on children and youth in foster care. We want to bring more awareness to the health-related and other consequences that impact the lives of foster children and youth, and how these consequences directly and indirectly impact whole communities. This is why support is needed from as many as possible from all entities in our communities. We all have an opportunity to become part of the solutions that lead to the best outcomes possible. There is much work to be done; however John Bytheway reminds us, “Inch by inch life’s a cinch.” The important thing is to just keep moving forward, however slowly or small our initial steps may seem. We know that as more of YOU get involved to help, we will gain the momentum needed to forever change the lives of foster children and youth who often enter protective custody with little hope. Please join us in our efforts to help give foster children and youth a bright day and a bright future! It truly is better to give than to receive. Whatever we do and give to help others, is often given back to us in multiplied blessings. Not only does it become our own personal legacy, it’s a simple, proven formula for happiness for all involved!!!
