The Huntsville Branch of National League of American Pen Women (NLAPW) is a national organization of professional women in the arts.

Members have the opportunity to interact with other women in the arts, showcase their talents, and mentor others.

We donated 45 pounds to the Food Bank of North Alabama today. We donate food to the Food Bank every December. If anyone else wants to donate to the Food Bank this year and add it to ours, just let them know when you drop it off. Thanks everyone for your generosity and care.

The speakers at the October meeting were Peggy Bilbro and Terri French. They did a haiku workshop with our members.

We had a wonderful fall “welcome back coffee” at the downtown library. We heard from NLAPW members who submitted their art and poetry to the national competitions.

04/15/2025

Our April meeting was a short course on earring making taught by our own Kate Leonard. Each attendee made at least 2 pairs of drop earrings with authentic stone beads.
