Join us on June 4 at South State Bank for a beautiful, hands-on floral workshop led by Alison Mitchell with Highland House Floral Design. You’ll design your own fresh bouquet for a vase while enjoying light bites, vino, and great company.

Cost is $20 per person and includes the floral class, small bites, vino, and a vase of specially curated flowers to take home.

Spring Fling was one for the books! 🎉

This past Saturday, **over 80 attendees** came out to play, connect, and enjoy a fun-filled evening of games, laughter, and great company. From bowling and arcade games to nonstop smiles, it was such a joy seeing our physician members, residents, students, and their families unwind together.

A **special thank you** to our incredible Spring Fling sponsors, Rosenblum Realty and Bank Independent, for making this event possible. Your support helps us create meaningful opportunities for our members to connect outside of the clinical setting—and we are so grateful!

Montgomery showed up—and so did we! 👏

The Madison County Medical Society was proud to attend the Medical Association of the State of Alabama 2026 Annual Session in Montgomery. It was an inspiring few days surrounded by physicians from across the state, all coming together to advance the future of medicine in Alabama. And District 5? We showed up and showed out! 💪

A special congratulations to two outstanding leaders:
🏆 Dr. Kym Middleton, recipient of the Howard L. Holley Award, which honors a physician who has demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and service to the medical profession and organized medicine.
🏆 Dr. Steffane R. Battle, recipient of the Ira L. Myers Service Award, recognizing a physician who has shown outstanding commitment to community service and improving the health and well-being of others.

We are incredibly proud to represent District 5 and Madison County and celebrate the impact our physicians are making across Alabama!

Dr. Keaton is an internist and hospitalist with North Alabama Hospitalists, where he is dedicated to delivering excellent inpatient care to our community. He earned his MD from Louisiana State University Health Shreveport and completed his residency in internal medicine. We’re excited to have him as a member and look forward to his involvement!
