Proud to introduce the Tall Pines Quilt Guild 2026 Donation Quilt for Scholarships! The name of this years quilt is “Aurora”!

Tickets are now available from any member $1 each or 6 for $5.

We will be selling tickets today (Saturday only) at the Rusty Chippy show and at Walker County Fair during fair week. Both events are at the Walker Co. Fairgrounds.

Come see this beautiful quilt in person and help support some graduating teens!

Monday March 2nd please join us for our guild meeting where we will have Anita Todd giving a beautiful Trunk Show! Sign in and social begins at 6pm and the meeting begins at 6:30 at the Huntsville Church of Christ!

Tuesday March 3rd is a Free Motion Quilting Workshop with Anita Todd. Workshop is $55 and there is a $20 kit fee. Workshop is located at the Fabric Carousel from 10am-4pm and set up begins at 9:30am. Contact Debbie Birdwell to inquire about remaining spots and to make payment.

Join us for our February guild and workshop this upcoming week! Details below. 😊

Monday night (February 2nd) is our monthly guild meeting. Kathy and Stan Tucker will be here giving a beautiful Laura Heine trunk show! You can also purchase collage patterns from them that night. We meet at the Huntsville Church of Christ on Hwy 30. Sign in and socials begins at 6pm and our meeting begins at 6:30pm!

Tuesday, Feb 3rd 10am-4pm at Fabric Carousel, is our Laura Heine collage workshop lead by Kathy Tucker. Recommended to do a small design to get closer to completing but you can do a larger project or sign up and work on/finish a WIP collage that is a Laura Heine. Workshop fee is $65. Signups are open to non-members. Please contact Debbie Birdwell to sign up or go by Fabric Carousel on the Huntsville town square to sign up and get your supply list.

2026 UFO Challenge begins tonight! Remember to bring your form, as well as, your January item!

Did not get a form but want to join. No problem make sure to bring your list tonight - 12 items in the order you want to do them - you can fill out your form this evening and still show your January item for this months credit!

Excited to see what all we can accomplish off our lists this year!

Happy New Year everyone! This upcoming Monday is our first meeting of the new year! It is our annual guild birthday celebration as well as baby shower for the Care Center of Huntsville!

Please remember to bring your baby bottles back filled with change, money, etc., as well as, any other baby donations you would like to make to the center. Welcome items include but are not limited to: diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, blankets, personal care items.

Meet and greet begins at 6pm and the meeting begins at 6:30pm located at the Huntsville Church of Christ at 3737 Hwy 30! See you there.

Hello everyone. The Tall Pines Quilt Guild Houston International Quilt Festival Annual Bus Trip still have spots and you DO NOT have to be a member to ride with us!

Bus trip is Thursday October 9, 2025! Cost is $60 this includes your round trip ride with front door drop off and pick up, your ticket, and snacks while on the bus. For free is the good time you’ll have with other amazing ladies.

There are roughly 10 spots left so please contact Martha Wilson as soon as possible to get signed up! You may also contact the Fabric Carousel to sign up and pay!

Will be leaving from the Elkins Lake Baptist Church at 206 SH 19 in Huntsville at 8:15am so please be there just before 8 to get yourself and your items on the bus!

If you would like to help you can take blocks to Quilters Quarters in Conroe through the end of July or you can make some and post them to My Fabric Friends yourself if you live too far away ❤️💕

As we celebrate the creativity and community spirit of the North Side Shop Hop, we also hold space for those facing hardship.

The Guadalupe River Quilt Drive is a heartfelt response to the historic flooding in Central Texas, where many families have lost not just their homes, but their sense of comfort and security. This is where our quilting community can step in—with compassion stitched into every seam.

The flyer below has all the details to create a 12" Poppy Block—a small but meaningful contribution to a larger quilt of hope and healing.

If you'd like to participate, Quilter’s Quarters in Conroe will gladly accept completed blocks through the end of July and mail them directly to "My Fabric Friends" in Victoria, TX, who are coordinating this effort.

Let’s come together, not just to quilt, but to care. 💙

Who is excited!? Patty Roebuck will be joining us for Monday nights meeting with a trunk show. Following that on Tuesday, July 8th is the quilted coat workshop. There are still 5 spots left. If you have a quilt or blanket from a shop or decided to quilt two widebacks together like I did it’s going to be a great time to do something out of the box with our quilted items!

Workshop cost is $50 must be paid by the July 7th meeting. Contact Kelli Anne for more information.!
