Candidates for All Kids -
Financial Accountability Statement

Candidates for All Kids is a grassroots, non-partisan community organizing group operating in McHenry and Kane counties. We are committed to accountability and compliance with Illinois election law in all aspects of our work. Below is an overview of our financial activity during the April 1, 2025, Consolidated Election.

Compliance with Illinois Election Law:

* Organizations or individuals that receive contributions or make expenditures exceeding $5,000 within a 12-month period are required to register as a Political Action Committee (PAC) with the Illinois State Board of Elections and file campaign disclosure reports.

* Individuals making independent expenditures exceeding $3,000 within a 12-month period must file a written disclosure with the Board within two business days of crossing this threshold.

We confirm that our total donations and expenditures remained below both the $5,000 threshold for PAC registration and the $3,000 threshold for independent expenditure disclosures. Therefore, we are not required to register as a PAC or file financial disclosures under state law.

Candidates for All Kids values accountability and compliance as essential components of our work. While we are not legally required to disclose specific financial details, we remain dedicated to operating responsibly and in accordance with election law.

Thank you for your continued support of Candidates for All Kids!
