MMO is BACK this Saturday, May 30th! 💚

This weekend, our Marshall students (with the help of our local community leaders) will host another medical outreach for the people of Huntington. We will be providing our usual services completely free of charge, including:

• Primary medical care & screenings
• Prescription Eye Glasses
• Blood pressure & glucose checks
• OTC Medications
• Mental health services
• Physical therapy services
• Oral Health services
• Health Department Screenings
• ECCC Preventative Screenings Sign Up
• Health education & referrals
• Clothing and hygiene items

Thank you to everyone who continues to support our team and spreads the word to the community. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

💬 Do you work with youth groups in West Virginia? We want to hear about your work!

You’re invited to take a brief 10–15 minute survey as part of a statewide effort through the Governor’s Council on Substance Abuse Prevention Subcommittee.📝📲

This is part of an asset mapping project to identify youth-serving, youth-engaged, and youth-led groups across WV, better understand their focus areas, and highlight how they contribute to prevention efforts. The information will also help identify opportunities for collaboration, training, and support.🫶

👥 Who should participate:
Anyone involved in or knowledgeable about a youth-serving, youth-engaged, or youth-led group, coalition, or initiative in West Virginia.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Kayla Barber for being named a Marshall University Student Success Champions! 💚🏆🦬

Recognized during yesterday's ceremony at Drinko Library, this honor reflects what so many already know......Kayla’s impact reaches far beyond her role as our Transition Age Youth (TAY) LevelUP Lead Coach.💫🌟

One student shared during the ceremony:
“She is so much more than a staff member—she is a consistent, trusted presence during some of the most challenging transitions of our lives. Kayla goes above and beyond to meet students exactly where they are, both emotionally and practically.
