We’re so proud of our own Bob Hansen on this well deserved recognition. His heart for service and dedication to helping others is something we see firsthand, and we’re grateful to have him as part of The Alliance. Congratulations, Bob.

Big Announcement: Our Board of Directors has elected Bob Hansen as our new Board President! Bob has spent a lifetime showing up when it matters most.
Bob’s name is one that carries deep respect across West Virginia—not because of titles, but because of the lives he’s helped impact along the way.
For decades, he has stood in the gap for individuals and families navigating some of life’s hardest circumstances. He has helped shape behavioral health services across our state, led organizations through seasons of growth and challenge, and played a vital role in addressing the opioid crisis at a time when our communities needed steady, compassionate leadership. His work has touched countless lives, not for recognition, but because of a deep commitment to serve others well.
That kind of leadership matters.
At the Mission, we believe this work is more than programs and services—it is ministry. It is meeting people where they are, loving them as they are, and helping point them toward a better path forward.
Bob understands that.
He brings not only experience and wisdom, but a steady presence and a servant’s heart—qualities that reflect the very foundation of what we strive to do each day.
As we work to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs through meals, shelter, and support, we are grateful to welcome a Board President who understands both the complexity of the work and the calling behind it.
Bob, thank you for stepping into this role. We’re grateful for your leadership and look so forward to what lies ahead.
