RWDSU members at Hugo Bosca Company, Inc in Springfield, OH just secured a new three-year contract. United, workers added Martin Luther King Jr.'s Birthday as a paid holiday. Did you know the RWDSU was the first union in the nation to ever secure MLK Jr.'s Birthday as a paid holiday? Workers also doubled their attendance bonus and made it more attainable. They secured an agreement for the company to pay out unused PTO on prorated basis upon voluntary end of employment. The union also maintained no premium percentage increase for insurance with a recent new plan that has lower deductibles. Most importantly, the new contract increases wages $2.50/hr initially that's a 14-16% increase for members, with 5% the next year, and 3% in the last year of the contract. Meaning workers secured a 22-24% increase over life of the contract!!! We are truly stronger united, and when we fight we win!

CONTRACT VICTORY: RWDSU Local 705 members who produce Heinz ketchup, mustard, relish, vinegar, BBQ sauce and Taco Bell sauce have ratified a new three-year contract at Heinz in Holland, MI!
