Looking for descendants of Betty Benjamin.

Marcia, would it be possible to put out a query about Betty Benjamin to see if anyone remembers her or is related? I can't get my hands on a photo at the moment. She was Cousin Betty to my grandmother and great-aunts.

Thanks to Elliot Nachman, a cousin of Eftihia Nachmias Nachman, author of "Janina, Journey to the Past," we are able to offer this book, once again. The publication, translated from the Greek, was published in the English version by The Association of Friends of Greek Jewry in 2004, in time for the 60th anniversary of the deportation of the Jews of Ioannina on March 25, 1944. Now, in memory of those Jews from Ioannina who were deported 80 years ago, we can once again offer this amazing book.

On January 14, 2024, the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki, as part of the solidarity campaign organized by the European Jewish Congress (EJC) on the occasion of the 100th day anniversary of the attack by Hamas terrorists and the abduction of 251 innocent people, illuminated the Jewish Museum of Thessaloniki, as a sign of support for the families of the hostages and the citizens of Israel.
