Any traffic stop can pose a threat to the person being pulled over, especially for people of color. Interactions with the police can mean the difference between life and death. Broken brake lights is one of the major reasons people of color get stopped and ticketed. Getting pulled over for having a brake light out can mean at minimum a burdensome fine, and at worst police violence. An easy way to mitigate harm and prevent police interactions is by maintaining your vehicle's lights!

Come out on Saturday, October 2nd, from 10 am — 6 PM for a FREE BRAKE LIGHT REPAIR! Please spread the word. Let’s give cops less power to harass us and pull us over for nothing.

Know someone that needs their brake light fixed??
Please pass this important info along!
