When communities come together, hope grows. ✨

HEALI NY’s Social Care Navigators supported a mother and her child during a challenging time by connecting them to important resources for food and housing assistance.

With the right support and guidance, families can find stability, hope, and a path forward. We’re grateful to be part of a community where support continues to grow, one connection at a time. 💛

After receiving support, she shared these resources with others by referring friends for assistance, helping hope continue to spread throughout her community.

What a great day of community, connection, and giving back in Hempstead!

The Kareem D. Sapp Foundation, Inc. (KDS) teamed up with Bethlehem of Judea Baptist Church and Joyful Heart Baptist Church to bring the community together and share resources and support.

We also had the opportunity to connect with Medicaid members and share information about FREE services they may qualify for, including nutrition services, home remediation, asthma support, and more.

Thank you to everyone who came out, supported the event, and helped make it a meaningful day of community, connection, and empowerment. We’re grateful to be part of the work happening right here in Hempstead!
