The recent BMAD mixer has had many great moments. A special presentation was given by Hector Gonzalez, a renown business coach and speaker, on “How your business can prosper in time of crisis.” The message left an undeniable impact on all in attendance.
It was great to see all the networking occurring during the “meet someone new rounds”, led brilliantly by our Master of Ceremonies and BMAD Board member Sandra Huezo.
BMAD President David Muñoz, Vice-President Elisa Ruiz, and Treasurer Raphael Landgrave, participated in special recognitions given to Denise Lopez, Hector Gonzalez and Raphael Landgrave for their contributions. A special recognition of RESILIENCE in business was given to Alma Cruz, who is a door-To-door vendor of fruits and fruit drinks in Huntington Park and whose consistency has left us marveled.
A necessary but disheartening message was conveyed by BMAD President David Muñoz on his recent experience in inviting Pacific Blvd business, from Gage Ave to Carondelet St., and he observed nearly 35 businesses closed in that small track of street. He conveyed how invites were made to City of Huntington Park representatives and their invisibility at this important gathering of local businesses.

El reciente convivio de BMAD ha tenido muchos grandes momentos. Héctor González, un reconocido entrenador de negocios y orador, realizó una presentación especial sobre "Cómo su negocio puede prosperar en tiempos de crisis". El mensaje dejó un impacto innegable en todos los asistentes.
Fue genial ver todo el networking que se produjo durante las rondas de "conocer a alguien nuevo", dirigidas brillantemente por nuestra maestra de ceremonias y miembro de la junta directiva de BMAD, la Abogada Sandra Huezo.
El presidente de BMAD, David Muñoz, la vicepresidenta Elisa Ruiz y el tesorero Raphael Landgrave, participaron en los reconocimientos especiales otorgados a Denise López, Héctor González y Raphael Landgrave por sus contribuciones. Un reconocimiento especial a la RESILIENCIA en los negocios se otorgó a Alma Cruz, quien es una vendedora de puerta a puerta de frutas y bebidas de frutas en Huntington Park y cuya consistencia nos ha dejado maravillados.
Un mensaje necesario pero desalentador fue transmitido por el presidente de BMAD, David Muñoz, sobre su reciente experiencia al invitar a negocios de Pacific Blvd, desde Gage Ave hasta Carondelet St., y observó que casi 35 negocios están cerrados en esa pequeña porción de la calle. Transmitió cómo se hicieron las invitaciones a los representantes de la ciudad de Huntington Park y la observable invisibilidad en esta importante reunión de empresas locales
