Join us this Saturday at Triple C Brewing Co. for an afternoon of cold drinks, wagging tails, and maybe even a little love at first sight. ❤️

We’ll have a variety of adoptable dogs and puppies joining us, all looking for one very important thing: a family of their own! 🏡

Looking for a fun (and meaningful!) way to spend your Labor Day weekend? 📚🐾

Join us THIS SATURDAY for Reading Buddies 101! Kids and their grown-ups can complete a one-time orientation to become official HSC Reading Buddies, then come back during open hours to read to our shelter animals. 💙

Not only is it a great way for young readers to practice their skills, but the calm, soothing companionship can also help our dogs and cats feel more comfortable while they wait for adoption.

During orientation, you’ll learn about dog and cat body language, how the program works, and everything you need to know to be an amazing Reading Buddy. Afterward, you’ll be ready to grab a book and make a new furry friend! 🐶🐱📖
