🌟 What a wonderful day at our Open House! 🌟

We had such a great time yesterday! It was wonderful meeting some new friends and catching up with old ones. There’s nothing better than reconnecting after a busy summer! 💚

As we get ready for another exciting year of scouting, please keep an eye out for emails and Facebook posts with information about the official start of the scouting year.

🎉 And other fun activities!

Parents can learn more about everything Pack 42 has to offer, including camping, hiking, Pinewood Derby, STEM activities, community service, outdoor adventures, and more. 🏕️🥾🚀

Pack 42 is an active, high-energy Pack where kids can get outside, explore, make friends, learn new skills, serve their community, and HAVE A TON OF FUN!

This weekend was a favorite event…the annual Mecklenburg County Council, Scouting America Cuboree! Held at Camp Grimes, scouts spent the weekend fishing, hiking, rock climbing, shooting BB guns, and even had a visit from a petting zoo! Though the weather was not ideal, scouts are always prepared and so they made the best of it!

What an amazing weekend! The Darlington Raceway held Scout Weekend, where scouts and their families could camp out in a special area just for them for two days and see all the racing action. Saturday featured the NASCAR O’Reilly Auto Parts Series, and Sunday featured the NASCAR Cup Series. They also were able to participate in Q&A sessions with drivers, Ty Dillon and Ross Chastain. The rest of the weekend was spent taking a track walk, visiting the museum at the track, the Darlington Raceway Hall of Winners, visiting the Fan Zone and just spending time together at the campsites. Truly, a wonderful time with our Cub Scout Pack 97 and Troop 97 friends.

Scout Night at the Charlotte Checkers game was a huge hit! Everyone had a blast and best of all, Checkers won!!
