73 families tonight. Anyone that thinks that there isn't a need in Southern Iowa, you need to come to a handout! I had huge goals starting this pantry but I never thought it would grow this fast. You're all amazing!
Here's to my wonderful group of volunteers. Marlene Scott, Ruby Robertson, Bruce Robertson, Mike Harrah, Brenda Watson-Harrah, George Guiles, Deb Guiles, Janice Witzig Downen, Carla Paugh, Mickie Leer, Willa Clark and Laura Funk.

A huge thank you to Dan and Karen Lavely for making this awesome Christmas tree. I can't wait to use it this November for the Festival of Trees in Corydon. They're a huge supporter of the food pantry. I love and appreciate it when people step up to help us.

If anyone has extra yarn that they wouldn't mind parting with, please let me know. We have a wonderful lady who would donate handmade hats to the food pantry. Thank you.🧶

I love hunting season in Iowa but I also love our food pantry. So when you have two beautiful ladies who offer to run the pantry so I can sit in a treestand, you take them up on their offer. Thank you Amy Horton and Mickie Leer. They served the biggest crowd we have had, 51 families!!!!!!

A huge thank you to the other wonderful volunteers who I never have to worry about them showing up: Marlene Scott, Carla Paugh, Willa Clark, Ruby Robertson, Bruce Robertson, Karen Lavely, Mike Harrah, Deb Guiles, George Guiles, Butch-Susie Gibbs and Laura Funk.

First Interstate Bank did some truly amazing things for our food pantry today! 🥫✨ Just look at the wonderful items they collected at their branch to help feed our community. On top of that, their incredible team volunteered their time today, jumping in to help with absolutely everything we needed. We cannot thank them enough for their support! 🙏Every time I think I can’t be surprised by the generosity of our community anymore, a day like today happens. Thank you, First Interstate Bank, for your dedication and heart! ❤️

I'm away in Wisconsin for a very important event so I had a great person take over today in my place, Jodi Van Loon . She told me they had 36 families, wow, I'm very impressed.

Thank you to Marlene Scott, Carla Paugh, Willa Clark, Laura Funk, Ruby Robertson, Bruce Robertson, Brenda Harrah, George Guiles, Deb Guiles, Tom Cowling, Jackie Ericson, Linda Dawson, Kris Thomas and Danny Thomas for helping or bringing donations.

I won't be there next time either but April Parmer, Willa Clark and Laura Funk will do great at running it.
