I'm away in Wisconsin for a very important event so I had a great person take over today in my place, Jodi Van Loon . She told me they had 36 families, wow, I'm very impressed.

Thank you to Marlene Scott, Carla Paugh, Willa Clark, Laura Funk, Ruby Robertson, Bruce Robertson, Brenda Harrah, George Guiles, Deb Guiles, Tom Cowling, Jackie Ericson, Linda Dawson, Kris Thomas and Danny Thomas for helping or bringing donations.

I won't be there next time either but April Parmer, Willa Clark and Laura Funk will do great at running it.

Our pizza🍕 themed food pantry pickup today was a success. We had 36 families who came out today. This was also our 1st handout with the State of Iowa. I think people were happy with the big variety of items.

Just a quick reminder, no food pantry today. It's next week on the 13th. We will have things to make pizza. Who doesn't like 🍕 , right?

GREAT NEWS! We are partnered with The State of Iowa.

The process was longer and harder than I expected but it will be worth it.

What does this mean? It means that our food and supplies will cost us much less and we'll have a much better variety of food.

Thank you to everyone who still came every month. Thank you for be patient.

What a beautiful day! A huge thank you to Alex Brennecke and Callie Clow Mehrhoff who volunteered to run today's pickup. Also, a huge thank you to my partner in crime, Marlene Scott. I couldn't do this without her. She does so much behind the scenes. Here's to our other great volunteers: Mickie Leer. Carla Paugh, Mike Harrah, George Guiles, Deb Guiles, Willa Clark, Tom Cowling, Tom Peplinski, Bruce Robertson and Ruby Robertson.

We also have had another wonderful donation from Intersate Bank, Hyvee and Tony Funk, Linda Dawson, Kayla Boynton this week.

Our next handout will be August 13th, that's in 3 weeks.

It's Fair Time At The Food Pantry! My plan is to have walking tacos🌮, nacho chips, lemonade🍋 and hotdogs 🌭. Not a guarantee but hopefully.

Join us July 23rd from 4 to 6 pm at the Garden Grove Training Center (old school). Please use the northeast door.

Everyone is always welcome.

It was a warm one today but it didn't stop the awesome volunteers for showing up!

We feed 49 families, I keep thinking that it can't get bigger and it does!

The Deb and Jeff Hansen Foundation and Iowa Select Farms have awarded us as the first recipients of their new initiative, providing a brand new freezer to our new food pantry, which will significantly enhance our service to the community. I couldn't be more honored.

The food pantry pickup is scheduled for Thursday, July 9th, from 4:00 to 6:00.

We will have pork sausage and biscuit mix so you can make biscuits and gravy. Yummy!

All attendees are welcome.

For item pickup, please enter through the northeast door.

What do you do on this hot day? 🤔 How about think about Christmas?

I want to put a Christmas tree at the Corydon Festival of Trees again this year. They always give the pantry a great donation. 🎄

Anyone willing to make me a tree? I'm kind of out of favors from my husband. 🤣

I have attached a few ideas. I don't need anything fancy. Thank you in advance.
