For many children, summer brings excitement, new experiences, and a break from school routines. But for some, the transition can also be challenging. Summer often means big changes, less predictability, and more unstructured time than students are used to during the school year.

To help support a smoother transition, we're sharing a Summer Social Story that families can use to talk about what summer might look and feel like.

🌟 Spectrum Strong Community Corner: Business of the Month 🌟
Each month we are planning to highlight a business that makes a difference and supports local families. 💙
We are so lucky to be surrounded by incredible businesses, organizations, and people who believe in inclusion, acceptance, and building a stronger community for everyone. Many of these businesses come highly recommended through word of mouth or from families who have had truly meaningful experiences with them.
This month’s featured business is Dynamic Music Therapy🎉

Dynamic Music Therapy offers individual and group music therapy services for children, teens, and adults of all abilities. Their team of board-certified music therapists use music to support communication, emotional expression, social connection, self-advocacy, regulation and overall well-being while honoring each person's unique strengths, needs, and ways of experiencing the world. Through a neuroaffirming, relationship-centered approach, they are committed to meeting families where they are and providing individualized support that feels meaningful and accessible.

Each session is tailored to the individual and can take place in homes, schools, community settings, and groups. Dynamic Music Therapy currently accepts private pay and CLTS funding for services.
