We're late to the party in congratulating Mr. Luongo! Thank you for your mentorship...

In Scouting, we look for stars who lead by example, and Robert "Bob" Luongo has spent years building a legacy of service. We are incredibly proud to honor him with the Silver Beaver Award!

Bob is a true "multitool" for our Council. Whether he’s serving as an Area Adviser for the Order of the Arrow, directing massive service projects using his professional building trades expertise, or staffing events like MassJam and Wood Badge, Bob ensures the job is done right.

A firm believer that "every Scout deserves a trained leader," Bob has mentored hundreds as a Course Director for IOLS and BALOO. He isn't just part of the program; he’s the foundation it’s built on.

Lots of kids, a bunch of adult volunteers, several police officers, over 1000-pounds of food, nearly $420 in donations, and 1 very full dumpster made a difference for the Hudson Community Food Pantry and . was pleased to join Hudson, MA Girl Scouts - GSEMA, Pack 3104 Hudson, Troop 77 Hudson, MA and members of Crew 1923 Assabet Valley to collect food, raise money, tidy up, and clean up the area - TOGETHER. Thank you to everyone who participated in our inaugural “March for Food.”
