Up to $20,000. One community. Your idea. SPARK Tank applications are now open and due September 15!

The SPARK Grant supports innovative ideas that improve life for those who live, learn, play, and work in Hudson—just ask the Hudson Dog Park, one of our past recipients!

This year, finalists will pitch their ideas live at the SPARK Tank Challenge. Start with a Pitch Preview — selected applicants will be invited to apply for the full grant. You don't need to be a nonprofit. You just need an idea worth fighting for.

You don't have to be a nonprofit to pitch an idea for Hudson.
Teens, individuals, businesses, community groups — anyone with a vision for a better Hudson is welcome. All you need is:
• A description of your ides
• Outline the time and money it’ll take
• And a nonprofit partner to receive the funds

Did you know a SPARK Grant helped put history on the path?
In 2023, a SPARK Grant helped fund the Lakefront Heritage Project, a series of banners erected along the walking path in Lakefront Park that tell the story of Hudson's history.
That idea started with a vision for making Hudson better by creating an outdoor, accessible history walk that everyone could enjoy for free – all year round.

What idea do YOU have that could make a difference?
This year, finalists will compete in the first-ever SPARK Tank Challenge for up to $20,000 in community funding.
