From Coffee & Sports Chat and trips to the grocery store, to cheering along at the Hudson Memorial Day Parade and Glee Club, and all of the little moments in between, May was filled with connection, friendship, and community.

These everyday experiences may seem small, but they are what make HCL so special. Whether it's sharing a conversation over coffee, learning new skills, supporting one another, or simply spending time with friends, each moment helps build confidence, independence, and a true sense of belonging.

There is something special about the way music brings people together 🎶 Glee Club is so much more than singing songs - it is a space for friendship, confidence, laughter, creativity, and community.

A huge thank you to the Hudson Community Foundation for their generous grant that made this program possible, and to The Groovy Garfoose, LLC for facilitating such a fun, engaging, and joyful experience for our residents. 💙

This weekend, we celebrated the incredible moms, grandmas, and women who make the HCL community so special. Thank you for the love, support, encouragement, and joy you bring into the lives of our residents each and every day. We are so grateful for the many ways you help make Hudson Community Living feel like home. 💐

And a huge shoutout to our amazing committee who planned such a thoughtful and beautiful celebration for everyone!

We are incredibly grateful to Seniors and Youth: Partners in Philanthropy (SAYPIP) for their continued generosity and support of Hudson Community Living. This partnership between Laurel Lake Retirement Community and Seton Catholic School is changing lives while giving students, with the guidance of senior mentors, the opportunity to put philanthropy into action in a meaningful way. Last year, their kindness helped us launch portions of our hydroponic garden program, creating meaningful opportunities for residents to learn, grow, and enjoy fresh produce right here in our community.

This year, thanks to their ongoing support, we are excited to build on that momentum by expanding our hydroponic gardening efforts and creating inviting outdoor dining spaces for our residents to gather and connect this summer.

We are so thankful for partners like SAYPIP who believe in creating joyful, inclusive spaces where our residents can thrive!

We loved spending time with our friends at SCL this weekend as we hosted a family picnic full of connection, laughter, and community. Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make it such a special day!
