Wisconsin Area Camera Clubs Organization WACCO is a group of camera clubs working together to promote the learning of photography. Any camera club can become a member.

We put on competitions twice a year and usually bring in a speaker once a year.

Join us for our Spring Program, featuring Mike Moats, an international award-winning full-time pro macro photographer from Michigan. He will be presenting two programs: Nature Macro Photography and Non-Nature Photography.
The program will be held virtually on Saturday, March 7, 2026, from 9:00am to 11:45am, with a short break between presentations. The cost is only $15.

Saturday- 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
The two topics for the seminar will be Wildlife Photography—The 6 A’s, Africa, America’s, Antarctica, Arctic, Asia, and Australia (9:00 AM to 10:30 AM) and Landscape Photography – Capturing the Classic Icons to the Lesser Well-Known Locations (11:00 AM to 12:30 PM). There will be a half-hour break between each session. There will be time for questions after each session.

The cost of this seminar is $26.50 for Early Registration (12/18/24 to 2/9/25) and $36.50 for General Admission (2/10/25 to 2/28/25).

There is still time to sign up for our Spring Seminar, featuring Jennifer Renwick and David Kingham. Jennifer will be talking about "Photographing Abstracts: Making the Ordinary Extraordinary." David's program is entitled "Rethink Black and White: A new approach to creative processing in Lightroom." This is a virtual event to be held on March 4, 2023, from 9:00am-1:00pm. Admission is $25. Our fall competition is complete.
There will be the judging of the medal awards and best of show from the fall WACCO Competition at 11:30AM on November 6th.
After the final judging there will be a slide show with all of the HM and higher awarded images.
The judging will take place via a Zoom meeting and all WACCO club members are welcome to watch.
Anyone interested in attending the WACCO judging should register for the meeting.
