Wayne Youth Wrestling Club

Wayne Youth Wrestling Club We are a non-profit youth wrestling club in the Huber Heights area. We are the first and oldest youth league in Huber Heights. No pads or helmets or jerseys.

We are affiliated with Western Ohio Wrestling League and Wayne High School. Wayne Youth wrestling is a non-profit organization providing a fun, competitive wrestling program for Huber Heights. We wrestle as part of WOWL (Western Ohio Wrestling League). All of our wrestlers are members of the USA Wrestling Assocation. Wrestling is perhaps the purest form of athletic competition to exist in the real

m of organized sports. There are no bats or balls, or pucks or sticks. There’s no time to rethink strategy, regroup, or even to catch your breath. There’s only you, and your opponent of equal weight and size. Experience, preparation and the will to succeed will determine the victor. There’s no doubt about it, wrestling tops the list of intense, highly-competitive sports. Wrestling involves a unique balance of practically every aspect of physical and psychological conditioning. Strength is as important as stamina. Speed as technique, strategy as intensity, and power as is coordination. However, it’s not always the natural athlete that ultimately succeeds in the sport — it’s the natural competitor.

Wrestling Camp starts TODAY! If you have not signed up, there is still time to do so OR you can register and pay at the door by just showing up. Camp will be held in the HS Gymnasium.

Just a reminder that tonight, 2/11 from 6-830p, is our last MANDATORY WEIGH-IN of the season. This is the weigh-in for Regionals at Stebbins on Sunday, 2/16.

If your wrestler doesn’t weigh-in TONIGHT BY 830p, THEY ARE NOT ELIGIBLE TO WRESTLE SUNDAY!
