Many people don't realise that a seizure isn't always a convulsion.

It can appear as a quiet staring spell, sudden stiffening, or even just a brief loss of awareness and balance.

At the Voice For Epilepsy, we are dedicated to sharing these vital signs. Visit our website to learn more: https://thevoiceforepilepsy.co.uk/learn-about-epilepsy/general-epilepsy/

Knowing your rights regarding emergency anti-seizure medication is vital for managing epilepsy safely.

Did you know, under The Human Medicines Regulations 2012, pharmacists can provide an emergency supply of medication, without a prescription - provided specific conditions are met.

Pharmacists have a duty to assist, and if the medication is out of stock, they must advise you on the next steps.

To understand the full criteria, view the official BNF guidance: https://bnf.nice.org.uk/medicines-guidance/emergency-supply-of-medicines/
