Hal Ornstein was such a man of integrity, a righteous soul, a model of the best of human nature. His commitment to his fellow humans stretched to many of us in our community. Each of us has our own story to tell. This is ours.
As a long-standing sponsor and supporter of the Howell Women’s Club, Hal would always come to our holiday celebration to take the group photo and send us copies for all to share and enjoy. No matter where or when, he came to capture us as we enjoyed our moments of celebration.
As we reflect now, it seems that Hal, sharing himself with us, and these photos taken over the years was a reminder that we are of one community.
Today our community sits quietly to smile, reminisce, to feel enormous gratitude, and grief, as we say goodbye to this good man.

☘️ There is nothing quite like the smell of fresh Irish Soda Bread to get you in the holiday spirit! Today, the Howell Women's Club had the absolute pleasure of delivering 60 handmade loaves to the wonderful folks at the Howell Senior Center.

Grab your boots and your appetite its time to dine for a cause. The Howell Women's Club is partnering with Texas Roadhouse for a "dine to donate" event and we need your support to make it a success. Whether you're craving those legendary rolls or a hand cut steak your meal can help us continue our mission of supporting the local Howell Community. So come out tonight show the flyer when you order and stop at the bake sale.

They say time flies when you’re having fun, and based on how quickly November to January disappeared, we must have had a blast! 2025 is a wrap but here are some of the end of year events the Howell Women's Club participated in.

Back in November they went to Tenth & Willow - Gourmet Market & Deli for a mozzarella making class held by Roberto. There is something incredibly satisfying about turning a simple bowl of curds into a glossy, silken ball of fresh cheese. Everyone learned alot and had a lot of fun.

In December they celebrated with their end of the year holiday banquet. It was held at Christie's Italian Seafood Grill in Howell New Jersey The evening was filled with great company and delicious food.

In December we also had our cookie exchange where we made bags of cookies for the Howell Senior Centers Just In Thyme pantry for homebound clients.

Coming up we have a dine to donate Texas Roadhouse on Thursday March 12th so mark your calendars.

A member of the Howell Women's Club made 60 homemade pumpkin breads that were delivered to the Howell Senior Center. We hope the seniors enjoyed this treat.

At the last business meeting The Howell Women's Club stuffed 25 Christmas stockings for Operation Jersey Cares. They were filled with toiletries, snacks and games and will be delivered to the troops just in time for the holidays.
