My daughter told me that a girl in her school was changing for gym in the locker room. Her "friend" secretly took picture of her undressed. The picture, of course, ended up on social media, resulting in embarrassment, humiliation, and taunting.
A lot of the girls refuse to change, and they are forced to take a zero for phys ed., and I certainly understand why.
With the amount of money taxpayers pay for school taxes, why don't schools provide cubbies or curtains so the kids don't have to undress or shower in front of the entire class? - Anonymous

This story was shared by someone on my personal page, today. I am sharing this because I believe that situations like this happen way too often. Mom's, Parent's, and Caregiver's - WE must teach our young girls that this type of behavior is NOT acceptable!!! How would you feel if this was your child? How would you feel if she called you crying because of what some other girl had done to her and how she was exposed? When it's not your child, it doesn't always hit home. Schools are supposed to protect our girls. I can assure you, when I say that I speak from personal experience, that despite all the anti-bullying programs that have been put into place, bullying has not stopped in the schools. Speaking as a mom, WE all need to be the example for our children. It is the only way for it to change.
