ONLY 1 LEFT! Mesabi Cherry is a red-fleshed fruit with sugar content halfway between pie cherries and 'bing' cherries. It is a pyramidal tree that grows to a height of 12'. Fruit resembles 'Meteor' but the pit is smaller. It blooms in early May and ripens in early July. This cherry tree is self-fruitful, so no other cherry is necessary. It has white flower clusters in the spring, orange foliage in the fall, and smooth dark red bark in the winter. SOLD - Niobe Weeping Willow is a fast growing, golden barked willow with a wide spreading canopy and long, golden drooping branches. It is an extremely graceful tree. It does best in moist planting sites. Plant in full sun. Foliage is bright green, with a yellow foliage in the fall. Height can reach 45' tall with a 40'-45' spread. ONLY 1 LEFT! Patten Pear is a large, late-ripening pear of excellent quality. Its flavor and texture develop over time and are at their best about one month after the harvest date. Fruit is tender & juicy. It blooms in early May and ripens in Mid-September. Pollinators for the Patten Pear can be Summercrisp or Parker. ONLY 2 LEFT! Summercrisp Pear has been recognized as the hardiest pear from the University of Minnesota. It is free of fire blight. As an annual bearer, the fruit is pyriform in shape, 2.5"-3" in diameter and 3"-3.5" long. It blooms in early May and should be harvested in mid-August when crisp and still green with a red blush. Use either Parker or Patten Pear as a pollinator. These are available now at the Miner Conservation District as a bare-root 6-7' tree at a price of $60 each. Contact Tami at 480.2401.
