Happy Sunday all!!! Your girl Janice Abram is at it again and made it to church for the first time in over a year without the wheelchair!!! 🙌🙌🙌. S/O to my daughter Danielle Parker for her new wheels. 🙏🏽. Call it a come back!!! Go JJ Go!!!!! We are moving forward. 😊❤️🙏🏽

GM FBF. Quick health update: Our girl Janice Abram is making progress!!!! 🙌. Today she was able to walk on her own for her physical therapy. No Wheelchair!!! 🙌🙌🙌. Also, her lab numbers were awesome and are looking good. Just wanted to share. We are so excited about this next season. GO JANICE!!!! 🙌🙏🏽💪🏽

My love, my life partner, and my best friend, Janice Abram, is in urgent need of a kidney donor.

She is currently battling stage 5 kidney failure and spends 7 hours a day, 5 days a week on dialysis just to survive. Yet through it all, she still smiles, still laughs, and still lifts others up—because that’s who she is.

Janice gave 38 years of her life to the Houston Chronicle, building lasting friendships across the city. She is a lifelong member of St. Francis Xavier in Sunnyside area of Houston Texas, where she has blessed so many as a choir singer. If you know her, you know her joy is contagious—she loves to make people laugh, even now.

Many people don’t realize this:

You can live a full, healthy life with one kidney.
Most donors return to normal activities within weeks.

Medical costs for donation are covered, and donors are carefully screened for safety.
