This is Muffin. Muffin is a Velcro girl. Picked up as a stray, she was very obviously loved and well cared for. She’s about 2, well behaved. She wants to sleep with her humans in the bed, and be with them as often as possible. She gets along well with other dogs and is a snuggler.. Who needs this pretty little girl in their life? She’d love to have a forever home for the holidays!

UPDATE Friday 5:00pm. Felipe has gained 2 lbs in 2 days! Frequent small meals. He is getting stronger every day! His adopters May make the trip from OKC to visit him tomorrow. His life is looking up!

So, we’ve had a few dogs come in in PA, and a few older dogs in OK, but we’ve been keeping a low profile, since my house is on the market and Bethany is stacked up. This young man came to us today. He has a home waiting, and not anticipating his condition, I scheduled his neuter for Friday.

Felipe is not going to be neutered on Friday. His body condition is poor, and we are running tests, but it appears to be malnutrition. He also has a healed fractured leg that wasn’t treated. He is 6 months old. Still has baby teeth, and tartar.

He’s in good hand with our vet. But is you were waiting for a good time to donate, consider throwing a few dollars our way.

7 years ago, these two older moms came into rescue. They had spent their entire lives being bred. The joy of their first taste of freedom, running on grass, was tangible. Dolly and Edna got the best home with Kelli Covington and her family, where they lived a life of soft beds and kind touches. Dolly passed away last night. I think she was 14. The second half of her life was beautiful, thanks to Kelli, Gina and Lucas. Run free, Dolly!

Reep needs a new home urgently. He’s in the D.C. area and would do best in an adult home and as a only dog. He’s an Iggy/terrier mix about 4 years old. He gets very attached to his person, but it sometimes causes him to have resource guarding issues. Perfect pet for a single person looking for a love bug companion.
