We are still waiting for the rules to be updated and the schedule set for Deep East Texas Fishing 2025/26 year. I do know, that the tournaments will start in September and will be monthly for the majority of the school year ending with a championship tournament March or April. Tournaments will be held on Saturdays allowing us to prefish on Fridays on Sam Rayburn reservoir out of Jackson Hill Marina. There may be a Sunday tournament in there also but will know more when schedule is posted. Each team will still be required to reach out to local businesses for support of $1,000 per team. Depending on how much these businesses support your angler, they may be eligible for their logo on the fishing teams jersey. I will have all that information at a later date. We will be registering through the Chaos Fishing App again like last year. It is not to early to start reaching out for your sponsors if you know your child will be fishing. The sooner I know who all will be fishing, the sooner we can get sponsorship money in and jerseys ordered. Thank You!

Hey all - It's that time again to start spreading the word and talking it over with your kids/parents about joining the Hardin Fishing Team for the 2025/2026 Fishing Season. We will make a separate post for a mid/late summer meeting to cover the details when a date gets confirmed. Please respond to this message, share this post or contact us at the info below if you are interested. Also, it's never to early to start thinking about who you would like to sponsor your team. I will post the schedule for next season for the Deep East series as soon as it is available. Let me know if you have any questions.

Congratulations Hornet Fishing Team on finishing out the 2024/2025 season strong with a 2 day Championship total weight of 24.45lbs for Team Luke Collins/Laken Hudnall and taking a check for Big Bass @ 8.41lbs. They also ended the year with an overall standing of 3rd place. Team Kaden Slankard/Jake Wells finished in 7th place with a 2 day total weight of 31.82 landing them a check and finishing the year in 5th place in overall standings out of 132 registered teams. There is a good chance these boys will be invited to the nationals in Georgia this year, but we will wait and see. If not, my boys Kaden and Jake have fished their last high school fishing tournament. It was such a bittersweet day seeing this come to an end for them after 6 years of participating, and me being there with them. We've had many laughs and many angry moments such as broken rods, big fish getting off at the boat, riding some waves that make your ribs hurt, so many stumps we've slid over, broken transducer and so much more. I loved every minute of it and will miss it for sure. On to the next chapter for these boys. I love you guys! You all have done a great job this year.
