Karen Frost was diagnosed with oral cancer in 2023. She was already familiar with UT MD Anderson after caring for her parents who both had cancer.

Karen didn’t mind making the trip from Austin to Houston to meet with her care team and complete surgery and chemotherapy, especially when it resulted in her being cancer-free.
