💙🐾 **We Couldn't Agree More Be someone..** 🐾💙
Thank you to **PetSet** for continuing to shine a light on one of the biggest animal welfare challenges in our country.
This is exactly why **Texas Homeward Bound Animal Rescue** has never taken our focus off of Houston.
While our rescue is now based in **Trinity, Texas**, our mission has always extended far beyond city limits. Houston continues to face one of the most overwhelming animal overpopulation crises in the nation, with shelters and rescue organizations working tirelessly every day to save as many lives as possible.
The heartbreaking reality is that no single rescue, shelter, or organization can solve this alone.
It takes all of us.
That's why we're committed to being part of the solution by:
🐾 Pulling at-risk animals from overcrowded shelters.
🐾 Expanding our network of foster homes and volunteers.
🐾 Partnering with veterinary clinics to provide lifesaving medical care.
🐾 Promoting adoption and responsible pet ownership.
🐾 Supporting spay and neuter efforts whenever possible.
🐾 Working alongside other rescues, shelters, nonprofits, and community organizations that share the same mission.
We believe collaboration—not competition—is how we save more lives.
To the team at **PetSet**, thank you for your advocacy, leadership, and dedication to improving animal welfare throughout our region. We appreciate everything you do, and we would welcome the opportunity to partner with you and any organization committed to reducing pet overpopulation and creating lasting solutions.
If you're a rescue, shelter, veterinary clinic, business, volunteer, or community member who wants to make a difference, **let's work together.**
The animals don't care whose logo is on the shirt.
They just need someone willing to help.
Together, we can build a future where fewer animals enter shelters, more families choose adoption, and every dog and cat has the opportunity to live a safe, healthy, and loved life.
